The Russian alphabet (Russian: русский алфавит rússkij alfavít) is a form of the Cyrillic script, developed in the First Bulgarian Empire during the 10th century AD at the Preslav Literary School. The modern Russian alphabet contains 33 letters.

Master Plan Approved

On Wednesday, January 11, 2012, the Richmond School Board of Trustees approved the master plan as presented by Dr. Allen Bourff, Superintendent for Richmond Community Schools, at the December 14, 2011 Board Meeting. To learn more about the master plan, visit our Master Planning web page.

Attention 3rd Grade Students and Their Parents:

IREAD-3 Information

For all 3rd grade students and their parents, the IREAD-3 test window is March 19-21, 2012. The purpose of the IREAD-3 assessment is to measure foundations reading standards through grade three.

Teacher Mini-Grants Available

We are pleased to announce that teachers may apply for a Wayne County Foundation $500.00 Mini Grant to be used to enhance student achievement.  This is a competitive grant with up to 5 mini grants awarded in April and up to 5 mini-grants awarded in October.
